Lemonade connects African producers with US consumers under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). Lemonade LLC (Wyoming) acts as the seller of record for all US transactions and manages compliance, logistics, and Amazon FBA fulfillment.
Producers agree to community representative verification, fair pay compliance audits, and AGOA rules of origin requirements. Revenue is shared 70% producer / 20% Lemonade / 5% country host / 5% reserve. Payouts are released after delivery confirmation and 30-day reserve period.
Products are fulfilled by Amazon FBA. Returns and customer service are handled by Amazon per their standard FBA return policy. Lemonade warrants that all products meet US regulatory requirements including FDA, FTC, and CPSC standards where applicable.
Lemonade is not liable for delays caused by customs, shipping carriers, or Amazon FBA. AGOA duty-free status is subject to compliance with rules of origin and may be revoked by CBP upon review.
